Is there a word for Characters that are Elf/Ogre hybrid. Because if there is such word, please let me know.. U__U;
Now, here we've got my character Mareena, before she met Syrus, Arashi, or Nivia. Mareena managed to save a village form a Drow elemental sorceress' rule of over 100 years. The villagers were overjoyed to have gotten rid of the foul terror that has tormented them for so long.
They gathered up the feast that was originally prepard for the sorceress, whom had claimed she needed to feast to keep her powers strong. Many of the villagers set up the entire 30 course meal in Mareena's honor. After Mareena had eaten her fill after the 18th dish. She attempted to tell them she was full, but the villagers only looked at her with a brief confusion and continued to place food before her. After eating another 6 plates Mareena decided to give them a little incentive to stop.
When the calmity was over and done with, Mareena spoke with one of the village elders, who informed her that the sorceress forbade the utterence of the word, "full", from their vocabulary for the past 100 years. Mareena's face splashed with shock momentarily, before it slowly sunk into a blank stare, where she saw people poring water into water pots that were already overflowing.
Across the market area, Mareena saw a merchant stuffing scoop fulls of grain in a burlap sack bursting at the seams. Mareena released a sigh, when she saw the 6ft statues of the of the heavily stuffed Sorceress scattered about the village. A thought struck her as she looked at the statues. "Why is it that you've never told the people about this?" The elder just laughs and lets a smile crack across his face. "I love the view..." The old man says pointing out into the crowds of heavily plump people walking about.
Putting aside the lame story behind this, I originally wanted this to replace a sketch I did a few years, back that you may see in my scraps, if I haven't deleted it. Plus This is another attempt, to get myself out of a nearly year long rut.
I couldn't find one, but may I suggest "Ograleph." It's a combination of 'ogre', of course, and 'aleph', an archaic word for elves as well as the original name for the letter we call "A".
o_o so..there's like a village of fat people who worship her?

Mareena keeps getting better and better every time I see her. Good thing she is half ogre, I doubt an elf tummy would be able to hold that much. Excellent job all around.
